Now in its 30th year, the Purple Foot Festival is held every second Sunday in September and draws thousands of visitors to Casa Larga Vineyards for a day of grape stomping, live music, local food, and award-winning wines.

Festival Activities

A full day of family-friendly fun at the vineyard. From grape stomping to live music, there's something for everyone.

Grape Stomping

Roll up your pants, hop in the barrel, and stomp grapes the old-fashioned way. Compete for bragging rights and purple feet!

Grape Pie Eating Contest

A fan-favorite tradition. Watch (or enter!) as contestants race to finish a fresh grape pie — hands only, of course.

Vineyard Wagon Rides

Take a scenic wagon ride through our 40+ acres of vineyards and learn about the growing season from our team.

Winery Tours & Tastings

Go behind the scenes with guided winery tours and sample our award-winning wines at tasting stations throughout the grounds.

Live Music

Enjoy live performances from Rochester-area bands all day long. Past festivals have featured a variety of local talent.

Food Trucks & Craft Breweries

From wood-fired pizza to BBQ and craft brews, local food trucks and breweries keep the flavors coming all afternoon.

Kid Zone

Lawn games, arts and crafts, and plenty of room to run — the Kid Zone keeps younger guests entertained all day.
